Yes, a small amount of prostaglandins can enter the intestine which is just behind the uterus. This substance also stimulates bowel movements, so that the intestines will empty the food in the stomach more quickly. So, you are very likely to have repeated bowel movements.

Then, what about oral sex? As with vaginal sex, oral sex also allows progtaglandins to enter the body. However, it is less likely to cause diarrhea. The reason is, even if protaglandins enter the digestive system through the oral route, the substance will be first broken down by stomach acid.

2. Having sex before or during menstruation

Approaching menstruation, your body shows various signs, such as body aches, stomach cramps, and diarrhea. Why? This is caused by hormonal changes, namely the production of prostaglandins.

If you have unprotected sex before or during your period, prostaglandins will increase in number. As a result, the risk of diarrhea will be greater. In fact, it will get worse, if you already have diarrhea.

1. Use condoms

2. Avoid intercourse before menstruation
