How is sodium fluoride used?

First, brush your teeth thoroughly with toothpaste, and rinse as usual. Then apply a thin band of this medicine on your teeth with a toothbrush. Let the medicine sit for at least 1 minute.

Spit out the medicine after use. Don't swallow it. Children should rinse their mouths properly, whereas for adults, do not rinse, eat, or drink for at least 30 minutes after using the medicine for best results.

Use this remedy regularly for optimal benefits. You need to use it at the same time every day.

How is sodium fluoride stored?

This medication is best stored at room temperature, away from direct light and damp places. Don't keep it in the bathroom. Don't freeze it. Other brands of this drug may have different storage rules. What should I do if I miss a dose?

If you forget a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as possible. However, when it is nearing the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and return to the usual dosing schedule. Don't double the dose.
