Ranitidine dosage for adults
Adults (17-64 years) are recommended to take ranitidine as much as 150 mg once per day or 150 mg twice per day or 300 mg once per day. This depends on your condition.

Ranitidine dosage for children
For children (1-16 years), the dose of ranitidine (orally / taken by mouth) is adjusted to the child's body weight.
- To treat ulcers (especially for children 12 years of age or older): 75 mg once per day, taken 30-60 minutes before meals. Maximum 150 mg per day.
- To treat stomach ulcers: 4-8 mg / kg body weight twice per day, every 12 hours. Maximum 150 mg per day.
- To treat intestinal ulcers: 4-8 mg / kg of body weight twice per day, every 12 hours. Maximum 150 mg per day.
- To treat GERD: 4-10 mg / kg body weight / day orally twice per day, every 12 hours. Maximum 300 mg per day.
Use ranitidine regularly, so that you can get the maximum benefit from this drug. Always try to take ranitidine at the same time each day. This is to avoid you forgetting to take this drug. If you forget to take this medication, you should just skip it and continue taking the medication as usual at the next schedule. Do not increase your dose or take it more often than you should.
Do not take ranitidine for ulcers more than 2 tablets (300 mg) within 24 hours, unless advised by your doctor. Also, do not take ranitidine for more than 14 consecutive days. If your disease does not go away after a few days of taking ranitidine, you should immediately consult a doctor.
