What might happen if you overdose on vitamin C

Yes, humans may overdose on vitamin C. Research from the Institute of Medicine's Food and Nutrition Board in the United States reveals that for adults, the safe limit for daily vitamin C consumption is 2000 mg. Meanwhile, other studies have shown that the limit is 1000 mg. To avoid the risks below, avoid consuming more than 1000 mg of vitamin C per day.
