What is Sulconazole used for?
Sulconazole is a medicine to treat skin infections such as itching and ringworm. This drug is also used to treat tinea versicolor, a fungal infection that causes fading or darkening of the skin on the neck, chest, arms, or legs. Sulconazole is an azole antifungal that works by preventing mold growth.
What are the rules for using Sulconazole?
Use this remedy on the skin only. Clean and dry the skin area to be treated properly. Apply this medication to the affected skin, usually once or twice daily or as directed by your doctor. The dosage and length of treatment depend on the type of infection being treated. Do not apply this medication more often than recommended. Your condition is not going to get better sooner instead what happens you will be able to increase the side effects of the drug.
Apply enough medicine to cover the affected area of the skin and its surroundings. After applying the medicine, wash your hands. Do not wrap, cover or bandage the area of skin that has just been treated, unless you have directed your doctor to do so.
Do not apply this medication to the eyes, nose, mouth, or vagina.

Continue to use the medication until the prescribed amount has been met, even if the symptoms of the infection go away after you have just started using Sulconazole. Stopping treatment too early allows the fungus to continue growing, which can result in the infection reappearing.

How to store Sulconazole?

Usual Adult Dose for Tinea Corporis:
Topical creams or solutions: Use a moderate amount of cream and should be massaged gently into the affected area of the skin and surrounding areas once or twice a day.
To reduce the chance of recurrence, treatment should be continued for 3 weeks.
Usual Adult Dose for Tinea Cruris:
Topical creams or solutions: Use a moderate amount of cream and should be massaged gently into the affected area of the skin and surrounding areas once or twice a day.

What to do in an emergency or overdose?
In case of an emergency or overdose, contact the local emergency services provider (118/119) or immediately to the nearest hospital emergency department.
What should I do if I forget to take medicine or forget to take medicine?
If you forget a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as possible. However, when it is nearing the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and return to the usual dosing schedule. Don't double the dose.
