Since childhood, parents always teach us to be good people. There is nothing wrong with being a kind person. However, don't be a naive person who is too "innocent". This can even become a weapon for you to eat when interacting with other people in the midst of the harshness of the real world.
The disadvantage of being naive and too innocent
1. Other people think of you as a boring person
Who doesn't like making friends or being in relationships with kind people? You also want to hang out with only people who are always nice to you.
But being a naive person who is too innocent, nothing is all nrimo and just surrender, making other people look you in the eye. You will be judged as a very boring and predictable person.
2. You are easy to ignore
Being a good person doesn't mean you have a weak personality. Good people can remain firm and stand firm. A person will be more likely to be appreciated if he can be assertive and be himself.
However, naive people who are too innocent are usually never able to refuse other people's requests; can't be angry to express oneself; do not have the heart to be blunt (squeal); always succumbing to someone else's sake; and always put the needs of others ahead of yourself.
This characteristic is often seen as weak, which opens up opportunities for others to underestimate and take advantage of your kindness for personal gain. This is because other people will find it easier to predict your reaction when asked for help or when asking something from you.
3. You can't be yourself
When you have a hard time expressing yourself, it means you are not who you are. Emotions that are kept on hold for a long time can trigger depression to eat away at you.
On the other hand, being too naive and innocent can be caused by low self-esteem. This causes a person to be willing and ready to do anything for another for the sake of approval and comfort. In fact, this is not a good way to get environmental recognition for your existence.
4. You are easily disappointed
The habit of harboring emotions because of being disappointed by the attitudes of others can backfire on you. Not infrequently you will also be called a victim of feelings. Over time, tired and exasperated from being disappointed can make your feelings and mentally unstable, and can lead to depression.
