Use
What is the function of Akurza?
Akurza is a medicinal cream and lotion commonly used to treat psoriasis and other conditions that cause dry, scaly skin. This treatment is also used to get rid of dead skin from warts, palms, and soles of the feet. This drug is the same class as aspirin (salicylates). This medicine should not be used in children younger than 2 years of age.

How do you use Akurza?
Do not swallow salicylic acid. Be careful not to get salicylic acid into your eyes, nose, or mouth. If salicylic acid accidentally gets into your eyes, nose or mouth, flush immediately with water for 15 minutes. Do not apply salicylic acid to skin that is sore, red, swollen, irritated, or infected. Do not apply salicylic acid to areas that your doctor does not recommend.
Using Akurza: clean the area to be applied with warm water for at least 5 minutes before using this treatment. After washing, gently dry with a soft, clean, dry towel. Don't scrub. Apply a thin layer of the drug on the infected area, to avoid irritation, you should not apply it often at first, then when it starts to get better, start applying it more frequently as your skin has adjusted to the treatment.

How to save Akurza?
Akurza are best stored at room temperature, away from direct light and damp places. Don't keep it in the bathroom. Don't freeze it. Other brands of this drug may have different storage rules. For acne: 1 to 3 times a day.
For dandruff and antiseborrhoeic dermatitis: 1 to 2 times a day.
What is the dose of Akurza for children?
Akurza Cream:
For warts and calluses in children 2 years and over: use cream as needed.
Akurza lotion:
For acne in children 2 years and over: 1 to 3 times a day.
For dandruff and antiseborrhoeic dermatitis on the scalp of children 2 years and older: 1 to 2 times a day.
Children under 2 years: all Akurza products are not recommended.

Akurza is available in the following dosages and strengths:

What should I do in an emergency or overdose?
In case of an emergency or overdose, contact the local emergency services provider (119) or immediately to the nearest hospital emergency department.
It is very important to carry a written list of all the prescription and nonprescription drugs you are taking in an emergency.
What should I do if I forget to take / take medicine?
If you forget a dose of Akurza, use it as soon as possible. However, when it is nearing the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and return to the usual dosing schedule. Don't double the dose.
