Uses
What is Ardium used for?
Ardium is a medicine to treat a variety of blood vessel disorders including hemorrhoids, varicose veins, venous stasis, and bleeding in the eyes or gums. Ardium contains diosmin and hesperidin substances. Diosmin and hesperidin are plant chemicals commonly found in citrus fruits and lemons. This medication is also used to treat swelling of the arm (lymphedema) after breast cancer surgery, to protect against liver toxicity, and to relieve pain called radicular pain. This drug works by normalizing blood pressure in the veins, which causes fluid to leak into the surrounding tissue. The accumulated tissue fluid is then returned to normal blood circulation through the lymphatic system.
