Twins telepathy true fact or just a myth?

Many say that apart from having similar faces, twins also have similar lives, events and feelings to one another. Reportedly this could happen even though they were not in the same place. This is often referred to as twin telepathy. Is it true that twins have telepathic abilities?

Twin telepathy is more often thought of as occurring in monozygotic twins or identical twins. Possibly, this has something to do with the process of forming monozygotic twins that occur.

Yes, identical or monozygotic twins occur when an egg and a fertilized sperm cell divide into two. So they come from the same conception.

Because a cell is divided in two, identical twins usually have very similar genes and most likely the same sex. In fact, many suspect that identical twins have the same feelings, hunches, and thoughts even though they are far apart.

These factors sometimes lead to the assumption that identical twins have the ability to telepathy each other. The assumption of twins' telepathic abilities is often reinforced by stories from real experiences.

Several children with twins reported that they did the same things as their twins, even though they were in different locations. For example, twins like to happen to buy the same thing, order the same food at different restaurants, or make phone calls at the same time.

It was as if they knew each other's thoughts without saying it.

Examining examples of cases of twin telepathy

Two identical twins in England, Gemma and Leanne Houghton, in 2009 described the telepathic incidents they had experienced with each other. Leanne is in the bathroom and Gemma who is in the room has the feeling or the urge to check on her twin.

Many also report sensations or premonitions when their twins are in a dangerous situation. It should also be noted that telepathy is the process of assessing thoughts or feelings without the help of sight, sound, or touch.

Whereas in parapsychology, it is referred to as extra-sensory perception (ESP). ESP is a person's ability to obtain information without physical contact with one another.

However, there is no scientific evidence to prove it

Unfortunately, until now there is no scientific evidence that twins telepathy is true. Twins are also not always shown to have ESP abilities.

Then knowing that Leanne is alone in the bathroom, it's no wonder Gemma is worried when there are no signs of Leanne's activity such as the sound of water or her footsteps.

It is likely that other family members (who are not twins) such as the mother or father who is at home at the time will react in the same way if they find out that there is something suspicious with their family member.

Believe it or not with twin telepathy

Despite the lack of scientific evidence, the personal experiences of twins are also hard to refute. When viewed rationally, the occurrence of a premonition that is considered a sign of danger to one of the twins, can be caused by a deep emotional connection.
