Gargle with salt water
Gargling with warm salt water can help soothe an itchy throat caused by heartburn. The reason is, salt can help remove mucus from swollen and inflamed tissue.
You simply mix 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of salt with a glass of warm water. Then, stir until the salt dissolves in the water.

Chamomile tea
Chamomile tea is one of the herbal teas that is known to help overcome various health problems. Research published in Molecular Medicine Reports shows evidence that chamomile tea helps lubricate the throat.
This tea also has anti-inflammatory properties to reduce swelling, antioxidants to repair damaged cells, and antispasmodics to reduce coughs.
Drink lots of water
