Various factors usually play a role in determining how long you can fall asleep while trying to sleep. If the truth is the opposite, it will take you more than 20 minutes. Or you can even sleep easily in seconds after lying on the bed. Maybe you are not right with your body.

Again, there are really no hard and fast rules that say how sooner or later you should fall asleep. It all depends on the condition of your body and mind at that time. On the other hand, poor sleep quality can be another cause of sleep disorders, such as sleep apnea , grinding your teeth while sleeping, commuting to the bathroom in the middle of the night, and frequently shaking your legs while sleeping (restless leg syndrome).

What's the solution?

The amount of adenosine that makes you drowsy will return to normal if the body has been resting and sleeping enough. Extending your sleep time can also be a form of "revenge" from sleep deprivation that you may have been experiencing.

Supposing, you are trying to pay off a sleep debt a few days before that makes you often sleep too fast. When bedtime returns to normal, try to stick to proper sleeping hours so that your rest time is more regular.
