2. Only apply sunscreen once throughout the day

There is no sunscreen that protects the skin from the sun up to 100 percent, even if you use a high SPF. Sunscreen will run or disappear when you sweat and if you come in contact with water. Therefore, you should reapply sunscreen every two hours.

3. Just apply sunscreen to exposed skin

Most of you usually use sunscreen only on sun-exposed skin. Actually, using a good sunscreen is evenly distributed to all parts of the body, even if that part is covered by clothes. If sunscreen is not used all over the body, the results will not be optimal. So that your skin may still be exposed to sunlight.

4. Do not use sunscreen in these parts

5. Just use sunscreen just before leaving the house

The skin needs at least 30-60 minutes to absorb sunscreen. So if you've just used sunscreen a few moments before going out of the house or when you're out in the sun, your skin won't get any protection and risk getting sunburned.

6. Only use sunscreen when it's scorching hot

Regardless of the weather, you should always use sunscreen, even during the rainy season. UVB rays that cause burns do weaken during the rainy season, but UVA rays come in stronger.

Both UVA and UVB rays can cause skin cancer and sun damage. Therefore, you still have to use sunscreen, even in the rainy season or when it is cloudy. Using sunscreen also functions to keep the skin moisturized so that the skin will not be dehydrated.
