• Very rare side effects: anaphylactic reactions (hypersensitivity reactions which can also lead to collapse), open sores on the skin, mouth, eyes and genital area (Stevens Johnson and Lyell syndrome), facial swelling or swelling of the lips and throat (angioedema), tightness breath due to narrowing of the airways (bronchospasm), shortness of breath, fast heart rate, low blood pressure, inflammation of the pancreas, liver cell injury (hepatitis), blurred vision, ringing in the ears (tinnitus), sensitive skin, sensitivity to light, itching, kidney problems. Reducing the number of white blood cells (neutropenia), less platelets in the blood (thrombocytopenia).
