There are four types of bottled drinking water that are commonly circulated in Indonesia.
1. Mineral water
Mineral water is water containing minerals in a certain amount without the addition of minerals in the process. Mineral water has a pH of 6-8.5. In the process, this mineral bottled water is preserved until it reaches the consumer.
2. Demineralized water
Demineralized water contains no minerals. The mineral content is removed during processing, which is processed by distillation, reverse osmosis , or deionization. Demineralized water has a pH of 5.0-7.5.
3. Oxygenated water
Oxygenated water can be in the form of mineral water or demineralized water, to which a certain amount of oxygen is added in the process. Oxygenated mineral water has a pH of 6.0-8.5. Meanwhile, oxygenated demineralized water has a pH of 5.0-7.5.
4. High pH water
High pH water or commonly referred to as alkaline water is bottled drinking water that is processed by electrolysis or ionization, has a pH range of 8.5-9.97.
