These two hormones will continue to be produced throughout the night to keep you asleep.
The circadian rhythm works in response to changes in light and dark. That is why as soon as morning falls, the production of this sleepy hormone will begin to break down and slowly be replaced by the hormones adrenaline and cortisol. Adrenaline and cortisol are stress hormones that help you stay focused and alert once you wake up in the morning. On the other hand, there are many things that can change the work of the circadian rhythm. One of the most common is increasing age. According to experts, insomnia is one of the normal and common symptoms of aging. The body's ability to sleep longer will naturally decrease with age.
